To initiate the visa application procedure, it is recommended to reach out to the German embassy or consulate in your home country. Application forms and necessary documents are typically available for download on the respective diplomatic mission websites. It's important to note that the visa processing period at the embassy may extend up to 3 months.

For individuals pursuing language acquisition, the visa or residence permit is granted for the duration of the language course, ranging from 3 to 12 months, requiring a minimum of 18 lessons per week. If your goal is to study at a German university, achieving the C1 level CEFR is imperative to successfully pass the DSH or TestDaF exam.

  1. We need your registration for the PREMIUM intensive course with 20 lessons per week for between 3 and 12 months. You can book the course directly from this link.
  2. You are responsible for covering both the complete course fees and the visa processing fee. The visa application fee amounts to 200€ and encompasses various services, such as the Visa Processing fee, issuance of the confirmation letter, adjustments to course dates, and the UPS shipping to your residence.
  3. After the payment of all fees, you will send us a copy of your address and your passport to info@evolanguage.de
  4. We will send you the original confirmation letter including the receipt for the paid course to your address abroad via UPS or DHL Express courier service.
  5. You book international health insurance from the following link: health insurance for international students.
  6. Schedule an appointment at the German embassy in your local area, and upon your visit, ensure to bring the confirmation letter, registration fee, health insurance documentation, and the original receipt for the paid course. All documents must be presented in their original form during your appointment.
  7. You need a blocked account or somebody signs for you a Declaration of commitment - "Verpflichtungserklärung".

NOTE: For the final visa appointment at the embassy You are required to have a health insurance, the blocked account, the confirmation letter and all documents in original and the receipt for the full course fee payment.

If you are from the United States, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Brasil, UK or Israel, you also have the option to apply for the German Language Course Visa after entering Germany. Citizens of these countries can enter Germany for up to 90 days without a visa and then apply for the German Language Course Visa directly at an immigration office in Germany. 
Citizens from all other countries must apply for a German Language Course Visa before entering Germany.
